The Selvane Knot
The soul of the brand. A perpetually guarded secret, representing the ultimate promise of craft, quality, and the intimate connection with the customer. It is a knot that never unravels, a commitment for life.

The Green Light
The brand's handshake. An extremely subtle cultural signal, an invitation to explore the secret garden. It is a 5mm stitch of Malachite Green thread on the exterior edge of a garment.
5mm. Not 4. Not 6. Exactly 5.
Surgeon's Knot
A knot with a double friction lock. Originally designed for sutures that must never fail. We chose it because its form is permanent — once tied, it holds.
The thread is GÜTERMANN S303-826. Malachite Green silk.
The Three Vows
Every knot is made through a ritual of three vows. The Vow of Form: the Surgeon's Knot ensures the form will never unravel. The Vow of Root: couture tacking roots the thread through the lining, making it part of the garment's structure. The Vow of Soul: a drop of sealant permanently protects its form and luster.

Patina
Fine creases and light scratches are not defects — they are brushstrokes of use. In time, they form what luxury calls patina: not "old," but "yours."
Our baby lambskin is selected at 8–9 months. The first impression is not perfection, but truth.

The signature product green. Reserved for Gallery pieces, limited editions, and the archive. It appears as a thread, a piping, a badge — never as a field on a Mainline piece.

The diameter of our cashmere fiber. Sourced from Alxa, Inner Mongolia, where wind and temperature shifts shape a denser undercoat. Grade-A length ≥3.6 cm. High twist ≥900 T/m. Spun by Consinee.
A human hair is 70 microns. This is five times finer.
